How It Works

Check out our list of FAQs here or pop it in an email to us directly. We’ll be happy to assist and should get back to you within 24 hours. Best to reach us at [email protected] and write urgent if time is an essence.

Group Type

A shared cruise allows you to book just one or more cabins on a catamaran, sharing the rest of the space with other passengers. It’s ideal if you don’t have a large group or want to meet new people. Even on a shared cruise, each cabin has a private bathroom, and there are many spaces to relax privately.

Since 2013, we’ve been running shared cruises without any problems. Here’s why. A lot of people consider this travel option, fewer people seriously contemplate taking it, and even fewer become genuinely excited about it. It’s among this excited group that only a handful make the decision to book. That’s when things truly get interesting.

When you book, it means you share certain attitudes and ideas about life and travel, even if you’re from different parts of the world or different age groups. People who go through the whole booking process usually have a lot in common, so they get along really well, unless someone books a trip that’s not really what they wanted. People who don’t mesh well usually look for different types of holidays.

Every guest (solo or couple) gets their own room and bathroom. There are shared areas on the boat, in the back, on the front and sometimes on the fly bridge of the catamaran, in addition the kite and wing spots are wast at your doorstep, and even more when we get on land. It’s just like other trips where you have your own room but also eat and spend time with other people.

This type of trip is especially great for couples or small groups because they get to meet new people and hear their stories. Often, people who meet on our cruises end up going on more trips together in the future. So, when you book a shared cruise with us, you’re sure to be in good company with others who love adventure and kiteboarding, but you’ll also have your own personal space.

Solo travelers are welcome to book a double cabin on a shared cruise and enjoy a full cabin to themselves. If booking is not for peak season weeks, we can offer a price reduction from the cabin price.

Sometimes we can also assist in finding a cabin-mate for you. If this is your preference, please let us know and we can try matching you with other individuals who share the same preference.

If you’re considering booking a solo trip, please send us an email at [email protected].

A private cruise refers to a cruise experience that is exclusively reserved for a specific group of people and usually consist of between 2 and 8 people. This could be a family, a group of friends, or even a corporate team allowing for a more intimate and personalized experience.

No. For a private group of 4, the booking process remains the same as for a group of 8, as you’re securing the entire catamaran. The cost breakdown primarily includes expenses associated with the boat rental and services of the crew. However, as the food and drink requirements for a group of 4 would be less than that for a group of 8, we provide a “food and drinks” price reduction for each non-participating person. Thus, your group of 4 would pay less than a full group of 8. Balance is set with your last payment.

Yes, certainly! In addition to being suitable for a family with small kids, this cruise offers a range of activities that children can enjoy. There are ample opportunities for swimming, jumping into the water, and utilizing various water toys that we provide on board. Kids will have plenty of fun and engaging options to keep them entertained throughout the journey.

Yes. While most of our guests are avid kiteboarders, you do not have to participate in the sport to join our trips. Non-kiteboarders are welcome and we ensure there’s plenty of enjoyment to be had onboard for everyone, regardless of their interest in kiteboarding.

The catamaran can comfortably accommodate up to 8 people in 4 double cabins, each with its own private bathroom. Additionally, there are 2 single cabins in the bow that exclusively reserved for your Skipper and your Chef.

Furthermore, in selected Private Cruise type (full catamaran booking) with children on board, the saloon area of the catamaran offers a sofa bed where the table can be lowered to create a comfortable double bed, accommodating an additional 2 people. Again, please note that this arrangement is subject to availability and specific booking conditions.

Yes. We regularly operate with two catamarans, allowing us to cater to larger groups of up to 18 guests, not counting the crew. To make this happen, however, it’s crucial that you book well in advance to ensure the availability of both boats.

Booking / Payment / Cancellation

For every booking, we chat with one person. This person is in charge of coordinating payments, providing the details for the crew list document, providing food list preferences, etc.. This applies whether you’re booking a cabin on a shared cruise or a full boat on a private trip.

Joining a kiteboarding cruise is a simple process. You can either organize a Group Booking by assembling a group of friends and book an entire catamaran or Book a double cabin with one other person. In this case, you will be cruising on a yacht with other people who have also booked cabins.

Regardless of the option you choose, our cruises are all-inclusive. This means you can focus on enjoying the experience, without worrying about the details. We handle all logistics so you can have a good time.

In short there are 4 steps to help you guide:

  • Pick your desired destination
  • Determine the type of group you prefer (private or shared)
  • Select the dates that work best for you
  • Secure your booking with a 10% down payment

You have the option to pay your total booking cost upfront with two or three instalment plan applicable to both “Private Cruise Bookings” and “Shared Cruise Cabin Bookings”:

  • 10% of the total booking cost is payable either at the time of booking or within 24 hours (as a reservation).
  • An additional 40% of the total booking cost should be settled no later than 30 days after the booking date.
  • The remaining 50% of the total booking cost must be paid no less than 60 days before the cruise start date (please refer to your booking for the exact date).

For bookings made between 90 and 60 days before the cruise begins (check your booking to see the exact date), 40% of the total cost of the booking must be paid no later than 7 days after the booking date. For bookings made less than 60 days before the event begins, 100% of the total cost of the booking must be made no later than 7 days after the booking date.

When it comes to payment, you can choose between two methods: wire transfer and credit card payment. We recommend using a combination of both.

To secure your spot, an initial payment of 10% is required. We suggest using a credit card for this initial payment to prevent overlapping bookings that could occur while a wire transfer is being confirmed. The good news is, we will not be adding any credit card processing fees to this transaction.

For the second payment (40%) and the third payment (50%), we recommend using a wire transfer. We’ve successfully handled wire transactions for the past ten years without any issues. While wire transfer fees from a USD account to a EUR account typically range from around $15 to $50, the fees are almost nonexistent between EUR accounts. To make wire payments more convenient for USD transactions, we can provide a US bank account specifically for USD currency.

If you prefer, you can continue to use a credit card payment method for the second and third payments. However, please note that there will be an additional processing fee of 3% added to the remaining amount.

Our 24-hour free cancellation policy allows you to cancel your booking within the first 24 hours, without any charges. Any payments made during this time will be fully refunded. This policy is designed to give you peace of mind, knowing that you can freely make adjustments if needed in this perod.

We understand that life can sometimes be unpredictable, leading to the need to cancel your booking. In such circumstances, we kindly request you to promptly notify us at [email protected].  The cancellation fee amount is determined by the timing of the cancellation in relation to your booking and cruise commencement date, and it is expressed as a percentage of your total booking cost:

  • Within the first 24 hours of booking or reserving: 0%
  • From 24 hours post booking up to 30 days from the booking date: 10%
  • From 31 days post booking until 61 days prior to the cruise start (please check your booking for the exact date): 50%

Kiteboarding, Wing-Foiling, Kite Foil Lesson

Yes. We offer kite and wing lessons for all skill levels. Whether you’re a beginner looking to learn the basics or an intermediate rider seeking to improve your techniques, we are here to help.

Our lessons are tailored to your individual needs and goals. We provide one-on-one instruction to ensure personalized attention and maximize your progress. We use the latest equipment and teaching methods to ensure a safe and effective learning experience.

Whether you choose kiteboarding or wing foiling, our instructors will guide you through the fundamentals, including kite control, board skills, and safety procedures. With their expertise and support, you’ll gain confidence and proficiency in no time.

Taking kite/wing/foil lessons from a boat provides several advantages. Firstly, the instructor is always within close proximity to the student, enabling them to provide guidance and feedback in real-time while ensuring the student’s safety. The instructor can also escort the student with a motorboat, bringing them upwind and saving them time and energy that would otherwise be spent walking back upwind on the beach or water. Moreover, during a brief break-up-wind drive, students can receive additional tips on how to improve their skills and take a well-deserved break.

Yes, beginners are absolutely welcome. Our certified instructors and safe, flat spots provide an ideal environment for learning.

Normally, we can handle 2-3 people in a group who require constant support, while still keeping the rest of the confident riders safe. Since they spend less time on the water while still learning, we line up lessons and assistance back-to-back to keep everyone safe. Decisions regarding the schedule are made thoughtfully, based on the conditions of the kite/wing spot, wind, and the skill levels of the participants.

We highly recommend that guests pre-book lessons and assistance to secure their time slots, as this also enables us to guarantee the execution of these lessons. To further encourage advance bookings, we offer lesson packages at discounted rates, with options for a package of three or eight hours’ worth of lessons.

When it comes to larger groups of beginners, we get creative with scheduling to maximize water time for everyone. We also bring in additional help, provided we know in advance.

People who don’t require additional lessons but need more practice can bring or rent equipment and receive take “Assistance” service. Assistance service includes motor-boat escort, assistance with kite setup, and safety checks. It is ideal for those who need more practice to become independent upwind riders. Please note that kite gear is not included in the service.

Our lessons are private (1 instructor on 1 student) and include the latest complete kite/wing/foil equipment, motor-boat escort learning techniques, constant motor-boat assistance and unlimited upwind motor-boat reach. Depending on the location and the package lesson starts at 100 USD.

With motor-boat escort, we reach more secure and private areas away from possible (beach) dangers and crowds
keeping students more safe providing more space and less distraction so they can progress faster.

During lessons, the instructor is within talking distance from the student – giving instructions on the spot, receiving feedback and giving a sense of safety. The instructor is bringing the student upwind with a motor boat saving the student time and energy it would take to walk back upwind on the beach or even water. In addition
during a short break-up-wind drive, students are getting more tips on how to improve.

The refund for pre-booked lessons is dependent on certain conditions.

1.Pre-booking prices are valid if paid 14 days before the cruise starts.

2. The minimum lesson duration is 1 hour (or up to 1 hour).

3. Breaks are not included in lesson time. If a student requests a break, it will count towards the lesson time.

4. Non-active students who have pre-booked lesson time will forfeit their lesson(s).

5. In case of non-completion of courses due to weather circumstances, you will be charged at the 120 EUR hourly rate. Any difference will be refunded via a wire transaction.

6. When taking lessons from local schools, prices and conditions are set by the school.

General

You are required to have adequate travel insurance that covers activities prior to the commencement of your holiday. If you are worried about potential disruptions to your trip due to factors such as airspace closure, avalanches, earthquakes, medical epidemics, storms, or even ash clouds, we recommend considering Extended Travel Disruption Insurance. Many travel insurance companies offer this coverage for a modest additional fee, providing reassurance that your trip is protected in the face of unexpected air travel disruptions.
