What Is Included in a Kiteboarding Cruise?
An all-inclusive kiteboarding cruise covers your cabin, all meals, a professional skipper and kite guide, a chef, rescue and surveillance on the water, wifi, and yacht insurance. Four things are not included: flights and airport transfers, two dinners ashore, equipment rental, and lessons.
Below is the full list, exactly as it applies to every cruise we run in Antigua and Barbuda, the Grenadines, Los Roques and the Greek Cyclades.

What is not included
- Flights and airport transfers. You arrange your own travel to the marina. We are happy to recommend routes and timings.
- Two dinners ashore. Full board covers three meals a day except for two evenings, when we eat at a local restaurant on the islands. That is part of the experience, and you pay for your own meal.
- Kite and wing foil equipment rental. Available on board, subject to availability, arranged in advance by email.
- Lessons. Available for beginners through to advanced riders, places are limited, also arranged in advance.
How payment works
You pay 10 percent when you book, which secures your place. A further 40 percent is due 30 days after booking, and the remaining 50 percent is due 60 days before the trip. If you book late, the balance is paid in one instalment.
The first payment can be made by credit card with no fee. For the remaining payments we recommend a wire transfer, which we have used since 2013. Credit card is possible for the balance with a 3 percent fee.
What a cabin actually gets you
Our catamarans take up to eight guests in four double cabins, each with its own bathroom. The skipper and chef have their own separate cabins, so crew space is never taken from guest space.
You can book the whole catamaran privately for your own group, or book one or more cabins on a shared cruise and travel with other couples, individuals and small groups. What is included is identical either way.
Frequently asked questions
Are drinks included on a kite cruise?
Yes. Soft drinks, snacks and fruit are included, along with moderate alcoholic drinks.
Is kite equipment included, or do I bring my own?
Most guests bring their own gear. Rental is available on board but is not part of the trip price, and stock is limited, so arrange it in advance by email.
Do I need my own travel insurance?
The yacht is insured, which covers the boat. That is not the same as personal travel or medical insurance, so arrange your own cover for yourself and your equipment.
How much is the deposit?
Ten percent at the time of booking, which secures your place. The balance follows in two further payments.
Is there wifi on board?
Yes, wifi is included. Coverage depends on where we are anchored, and part of the appeal of remote anchorages is that you are genuinely away from things.
